Shop Black Round up-Week 1 BHM

Happy Black History Month! All week I shared different Black people to shop with on my Instagram. I have each of their websites or links listed below for easy access. There is a myth that Black businesses are over priced, rude, slow shipping etc. It’s not true. I do my best to shop Black first and have enjoyed the variety and quality of the products I have found.

Let’s get into the list.

BriAnn Danae, Black Woman Author. I recently read her “From the Hood with Love Series,” and it was everything. Despite their circumstances they found love and created a better life for themselves. This was not my typical read, but I loved every minute of it. It’s a 4 part series that takes you through the life of L-Boogie and Projex. Projex is bae and I loved the way he loved. She’s Pretty Booked Black Woman Owned Tee shirt brand that has popular sayings for book addicts like me. I get compliments on my shirts all the time. They are soft and wash well. These tees make perfect gifts for avid readers.

Souk+Sepia a Black woman owned top quality brand. They have beautiful clothes, accessories, shoes. I have a few pieces and have been in awe at the quality. These pieces are a little higher priced, but I have shopped the final sales and came up on some great pieces. I literally want everything on this website. I don't even wear heels often and contemplated buying a pair because they were so beautiful. They sold out quickly thank goodness because I have no where to go. It's that deep though. Do yourself a favor and check them out.

Colourfro a Black Owned African inspired brand. I have several T-shirts from this brand and I love that they represent our blackness with no words. The colors are vibrant and they hold up after washing. Trust me I really wear them and they all look as good as new. They are unisex, reasonably priced, and great quality.

StylezbyToni is currently a beautician that now has her own wig line. I found her when she had a previous brand and I bought these amazing Black Girl earrings. She no longer sells the exact pair pictured below, but she has a different version in more colors. If you are into earrings check them out.

God is Dope apparel is a Faith based brand. I love this brand because it allows you to express your love for God without speaking. The message is loud and clear. I have lost count of the amount of shirts I have. I also have a hoodie and sweat shorts. At this point I have a serious problem. They also have an elite marketing team that runs sales often. They use emails and text messages to ensure you don't miss a deal. Currently they are having a $3.99 sale and you just can't beat that.
